For the first time in Qatar, Lexis Nexis, one of the leading providers of legal research information worldwide, hosted its first legal event and awards celebration for the legal community in Qatar, ‘the Qatar Business Law Forum & Awards’ in partnership with the College of Law of Qatar University, Qatar Foundation and the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Middle East. The magnificent event was in the evening of November 17th 2016 at “The Beach”-Intercontinental Hotel.

Ghada M. Darwish Law Firm won the award for the most contested category titled “Qatar Law Firm of the Year” for the year 2016.

 The event witnessed a huge gathering from various sectors of legal environment in Qatar and was a meeting place of eminent dignitaries in the legal field. It was also a platform for the legal people in Qatar to exchange their innovative ideas in Qatar’s legal development.
